InVEST in Your Future: Share on Facebook!

Oct 9, 2017

An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.  – Benjamin Franklin

Tomorrow’s insurance industry requires an investment in the education of today’s youth. And that’s why a new partnership between WAHVE and InVEST is so perfect!

WAHVE is launching its second annual Facebook campaign to highlight the importance of replenishing our industry with bright, new talent.

We are asking you to join us and contribute to the future of hundreds of high school and college students by just clicking the “share” button on WAHVE’s Facebook posts. From October 2 to November 2, we’ll donate $2 to the InVEST program for every share. Our campaign goal is $3,000. Let’s do this together!

WAHVE and InVEST ( https://www.investprogram.org/ ) are a perfect match to keep the insurance industry staffed for the future. WAHVE slows the exodus of valuable, talented and experienced boomers from the industry. But we keenly understand we also must attract our share of the millennial generation to insurance — the “new wahve” of vintage experts.

And InVEST attracts those millennials by educating students on the wide variety of insurance careers. For more than 45 years, InVEST volunteers from agencies, brokers and carriers have been in the classroom dispelling the myth that insurance is old, boring and doesn’t lead to a rewarding career. Through a hands-on education approach students get a peek at what insurance really is — a rewarding profession where anyone can make a difference.

The 2017 WAHVE InVEST Share Campaign can help spark more young professionals to love a career in insurance. Of course, our wahves already love it!

It’s a great time to be in the independent agency system—for newcomer and seasoned workers alike.

And with a simple click, you’ll help WAHVE invest in the future of young insurance professionals across the country.
